The Port of Baltimore is a very attractive nearby port now that they have a year-round cruise program with the addition of the Carnival Pride in 2009. That plus the existing cruises from Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruise lines plus the cities proximity to destinations such as Washington, DC and Annapolis, MD make it an ideal cruising destination for the 40 million people within a six hour drive of the port.
